Suggestion for LFD

I don't play KTera so please correct me if I'm wrong... LFG != LFD? I would assume LFD is more like the dungeon finder in WoW that puts you together with random people of an appropriate class make-up then teleports you to a dungeon. You don't really have the option of agreeing to / choosing who is in your party at that point.

Yes from what I'm aware of is they are going to be implementing a system similar to WoW's. Lot of debate on it actually. If it is put into game though I'm not sure why we can't have a blacklist type of option. Something like having people on ignore but ignore for the matchmaking system so we don't have to be continually grouped with douches or what not.

LFD (Cross server?) = Automatic queuing with teleport to instances.

LFG (Local) = Manual recruiting for anything that requires groups, like campaign quests etc.

ah i see. well that's not even out yet, if there are problems with it i'm sure they'll be brought up on the forums again when we get that feature.

That's my point.

Have the blacklist option in it before it releases.

The LFD system is in a lot of games nowadays (it's essentially equivilant to any matchmaking system even bgs, moba's, etc). It's negative is to be pugged with people you know are bad and can do nothing about it or ninja looters, bots, people who just are trolling and will kill you on purpose, etc. So lets have a blacklist feature in it before it actually comes out please. Why it's a suggestion topic. HoN has the "banlist" feature and it is a great addition.

For the sheer fact that what was just released on the info about the actual matchmaking system I am going to reup this thread for discussion and hopes that in case a developer missed it they could perhaps see it again.

You have a matcher It appears be glad for that. NO cross NO port Is awesome and people still get there option to find a group.

This addition sort of needs to be implemented around release so that I can start my list.

I don't want to continually be matched with people I have no interest in grouping with for w/e reasons.

This is a fine addition to the game and would hurt nobody and only help.

Also as far as I know no other MMO with a matchmaking LFD system has it

As the party leader you see all applications to your LFG and can accept or reject them before they join.


the auto party system doesnt work that way , No one is leader till the group is formed and ready to enter the instances, then and there will a leader be chosen, thats how the k tera works
