Yup, we had lots of people running to safezones too.
What if.
When you enter a safezone it takes 10 seconds for you to become unPVPable (totally a real word)
That way if your chasing someone you can still take them out, but you can't be ganekd while using the bathroom or messing with your gear in the safe zone.

In most people's minds beating doesn't mean ganking lowbies and then running to safezones. Check out any of the videos of the mass PvP outside of Velika. Shows Aphotic running to safezones abandoning Sunless and World Boss.

OH MY LORD THIS IS SO TRUE (aiming towards the guild Tea Time)
Man, I just wanted to start getting in some PvP for the last day of the beta and guild that we went to war with just hid in Lumbertown and then rushed us with the help of randoms. Not complaining, because I had a fun time either way, but I wish they wouldn't of taken advantage of the safe zones so hard.
