TERA Population

Hi,

I did not play TERA since approximatly 1 Month.

I was testing Diablo 3.
I'm done with it, I had great time and I would prefer to be back into TERA.

However, yesterday, I did try to join the 3 LVL60 Dungeons.
After nearly 2h00 of searching time, I was not able to enter it and play.

I'm very sad about it, what's your opinion about TERA Population?

HF.

There are exponentially less tanks than damage dealers and healers.

Like any other mmo, go figure eh.

Might help if you mention whether you used the Instance Match Service (thought I don't know of anyone who uses it for lvl 60 dungeons).

Or which server you are on?

People I know do not [regularly] pick up random people for the level 60 dungeon runs. It is usually with people on their friend lists or guild mates.

Best chance would be try to just do random farming and make friends and go from there.

Or you can transfer to an server that is more populated if you think that is your issue. They changed it so now transfer has a 7 day cool down (IIRC) and they lower the amount of gold that is transferred as well, so do some research before transferring.

I mainly speak generally, not only about the "Instance Match Service".

During this 2h00 waiting time, I also did only see 2-3 Partys in "Y" PT Window.
I also saw only 2-3 /LFG message LFM players.

I'm on the main Valley of Titan Server.
It was Sunday Evening which is habitually popular for gaming.

This seem more logic to me.

I have a popular Guild but I rarely see them grouping to Raid.
I would like to enjoy TERA, kinda disapointed after 2h00 of waiting time.

I'm curious to know how much subscribers TERA have in America.
<500 000?

Last number that I had heard of (according to a GM report) was like 176K.... but no one was sure if that was a combination of EU and NA. I think the general consensus was that it was a combination of EU and NA, based on # of servers + average guild size. Who knows..

It's getting smaller not bigger, in my humble opinion.

Are you in Australia or something... I was on both BC and VoT yesterday just messing about, so yeah around sunday evening and it's the most people i've seen online in a while.

My guild even had 48 online, that's the highest i've seen it since joining just over a week ago.

The population is getting smaller but you make it sound like it's a ghost town which I don't think it's anywhere close to being.

I'm from Canada East.
I would really like the game to have millions of susbcribers like many others.
It's a very solid game but it don't have the "Name" it need to be popular badly.

Tera could have made a major dent into the current market of MMO's. At this point, it won't reach the million mark - however this doesn't mean it can't / won't be successful. Maybe once PvP is released and there is a bit more end game people will pick up the game.

Time will tell...

Population is in a steady nose dive since Nexus's release. It was pretty much the straw that broke the camel's back for most players who were hanging on.
