Sure I was, it's why I'm so surprised to see the difference in Population between Betas and now =|

That's how all games are, especially when the beta's are Free to play.

But VoT population is pretty good. I haven't had to wait more then 30 seconds for a dungeon finder to finish. Most of the time it pops instantly.

Unless you are solo Q as DPS. Then it's long.

I'm from Canada East.

I would really like the game to have millions of susbcribers like many others.

It's a very solid game but it don't have the "Name" it need to be popular badly.

You need to look up statistics, only one game in all of NA/EU has "millions" of subscribers and that would be none other than WoW.

A LOT of games have millions of players exepting WoW.
Take MineCraft as an example :P

You said "subscribers", minecraft is a one time buy for $20, of course a lot of people bought it.

Also @ your comment about BETA, that's how all game are in BETA, less servers+less explorable content+free key handouts+everyone wanting to log on at the exact second it starts = people everywhere.

It's over a month since release, most people don't feel the rush anymore, they don't come home, sign in for 12 hours and then sleep. They play more casually and obviously many have left, this is indicative of every MMO.

Hi,

I did not play TERA since approximatly 1 Month.

I was testing Diablo 3.
I'm done with it, I had great time and I would prefer to be back into TERA.

However, yesterday, I did try to join the 3 LVL60 Dungeons.
After nearly 2h00 of searching time, I was not able to enter it and play.

I'm very sad about it, what's your opinion about TERA Population?

HF.

To be fair, that was very possible even in WoW.

I am not saying TERA is rocking but at the same time we are stuck with 1 tank class.

We have 9 Lancers in our guild that are 60.

You know how many of them use the Cross server LFD cess-pool tool?

None.

Nobody in our guild has a problem running dungeons. Moral of the story: Join a good size guild, and enjoy Tera to its' fullest.

Or - continue to stumble down the road of Q's and frustration.

I'd say, join a fairly large-size guild if you plan on running dungeons at lvl 60.

I came into TERA with only intentions of solo'ing my game play as I didn't want the hassle of a typical guild's drama and rules.

Unfortunately, as I lvl up my Mystic, I found it more and more difficult to run dungeons and BAM quests with a PuG. No one wants to team up with a healer until they've locked in a great Tank and Damage Dealers. Healers are usually an after-thought.

Long story short, I was lvl'ing my crafting in Velika when a guild elder/officer lend me a hand and I him with crafting items. From there, he discussed about joining his guild who would help me with my quests and lvl'ing. He guild'ed me instantly. The best thing I've done in TERA was joining this guild.

Lots of very laid back individual who would stop everything they're doing just to help fellow guild mates tackle a quest or run a dungeon. Having loads of fun with these friendly guys. They've actually made my TERA experience much more pleasant and the best part is, I don't have to rely on LFG or Instance Matching.

You should definitely look into joining a guild.

Well the beginning island on Frost Reach is a desolate and forgotten place now. I'm guessing that shows how few new players there are. Hopefully Eme can come up with some catchy marketing to get people interested in this thing again.

But then again I'm sitting in que for over an hour already, so probably wouldnt help much.

Well I've only experiences serpentis isle to max level.

The entire server is desolate. It's a ghost town.

It's actually really depressing... I hope they merge the servers.

Tera could have made a major dent into the current market of MMO's. At this point, it won't reach the million mark - however this doesn't mean it can't / won't be successful. Maybe once PvP is released and there is a bit more end game people will pick up the game.

Time will tell...

Unfortunately, the MMO market rarely recovers from a failed launch. The game is placed with a stigma to the online community. No matter how much overhaul a game does, after they lose the initial faith of the community, they rarely look back.

It's called the primacy effect.

MMO's have one chance to get it right nowadays.

then the mmo market is doom, I haven't seen a new release mmo to be extremely successful in a long time, and as time goes by people demand more and more making it hard for new mmos to be good.
