TERA Subscription Numbers

Has there been any word on them? I just started TERA, and believe me I would have bought it earlier, for everyone I know, and that guy I met in an awkward conversation on Omegle provided I had the money. But to move on, has there been any word on it? I really want this game to succeed, I thin it has the potential, and EnMasse is pumping out content, doing events, and they're really active with the community. Does anyone have any information or can an EnMasse employee come forward with the info?

You should know better man. These type of posts are troll food. You're just going to have every onlookers out there come in with numbers inferred from a projection by someone based on used statistics in Bangladesh saying the game is dead and so is god.

There's no need to feel insecure. Play the game. Server transfers are free. If at some point you feel the population of your server is not desirable move. There are game's out there that shoulve probably closed years ago and keep running and adding content.

Tera has haters, but it also has some features that at present remain unmatched in the market and will make for a solid niche foundation. Ive played MMOs with 30k players and still had fun, community and regular content. If Tera is successful, great, if Tera goes STO it changes nothing for it's fans.

Just trying to start conversation in the downtime. Honestly, if they make an amazing endgame, I feel TERA could compete with WoW. WoW isn't hot [filtered] anymore, it's boring, repetitive, and there's no hero feel to it. In TERA, soloing a BAM or World Boss as a Priest, you feel like you're actually fighting this huge monster and you gain the knowledge of how to do it the next time, it has a better feel to it, and I hope it gets the attention of people.

Good example of a game doing this, Final Fantasy XI. Game is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and does not at all have as many people still playing as far too many MMOers think it takes to run an MMO. Yet, Square Enix is still releasing content for it as people are still playing it and not wanting to stop. They actually announced a new expansion for it recently to. As long as a developer does not simply give up on an MMO and gives its real community what they want without screwing anything up simply to get more numbers, an MMO can live on forever. (okay, probably not forever)

Well, I have 8,999 accounts, and someone bought this chronoscroll I put up for auction, so that's 9,000 accounts right there.

180k copies have been sold(NA, Jpn, Europe, UK), there is no reason to assume more then 20k -30k people left. That's only 150k people still playing on a newly released title here(NA sold over 100k copies alone). In korea, it's in the top 15 MMOs being played and apparently gained 70k subs just from the argon queen update.

Safe to assume the queen or argon update will; A)Bring more new players to this game & B) Bring back some people that left.

I have a very strong feeling GW2 will be pay to win since Nexon owns NCSoft highest stock and they are the biggest pay to win company in Korea. So only makes sense especially that you only buy GW2 and no sub fees(Much like D3 which relise on the RMAH)

The thing is, all the people trolling about subs dont even have a point anymore since anyone who actually plays the game will just buy chronoscrolls, considering how cheap they are for a lvl 60 player... So Tera is essentially a f2p game already, other than the purchase price

And of course, it blows away all the f2p out there, so its a no brainer
