What's with all these Tera free to play QQuers? It's like ever since the game was released it's been bombarded with a forum full of QQing. You can't even really tell if the game is good or bad because people just QQ about the dumbest things. They QQ'd about having TERAble computers that wouldn't install the game fast enough and allow them to log on. Then they QQ'd about server Queues and waiting to play on a Prelaunch weekend, "like oh boy! Let me just hop online to play this brand new game surely I"ll be the only one! PFFT! 2hr queue!? Screw them time to QQ on their forums." Then you have people rushing to get to L60 for what I don't know when the end game is barely even complette, then they complain about being bored after playing a game nonstop for the past 7 days. It's an MMO it's not supposed to be completed in one day. You take your time to play it, and enjoy it not rush to the end to win an invisible award that no one cares about.

I mean I remember when SWTOR came out and it's like people just wanted that game to fail. It's almost like they where on a mission looking to QQ where ever they could and anywhere the very mention of SWTOR was brought up. They'd even go after people that liked the game in packs trying to belittle them for enjoying it.It was like a QQ hate quest.

As soon as I noticed the F2P trend it's like their gang symbol. Here they come! "This game doesn't have what I want so therefore it's going F2P it's going to fail!"

The game has been out officially for 9 days! Whoop Dee! Doo!

If you can tell the future of this game 2 years from now from playing it for a few days you my friend are wasting your talents. You should be buying winning lotto tickets,opening up free reading hotlines,trading stock,betting on horses, owning black jack tables in Vegas etc.etc. because you my friend have a knowledge and ability to forsee the future that has advanced far beyond normal human capabilities.

Or could it just be... no... could it really be that you have no FREAKING CLUE AS TO WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!?

Yeah, I'm going to go with that one. Tera is not a perfect game but it is the game with the most potential over any game being released because it is completely NEW. A new world, new lore, and new room for expansion. The greatest success are the ones that have a slow start, rather than those that erupt and burn out over night. I promise you this. GW2 will be the best PVE experience you ever have in a game but, TERA is going to be that PVP game that those people who will come running too when they realize there's no one in wow to kill, and GW2 is just another battleground. They will be in Tera my friend.

Because they are already here now.

I can honestly say I'm generally one of the naysayers when it comes to new MMOs, and have a good track record of picking the failures early on... however, I agree with pretty much all of this.


One unrelated thing though, on the Guild Wars 2 point.. no, the PvE is utter garbage at it's core. The touted dynamic questing etc is all smoke and mirrors and is in fact extremely annoying. Completely horrible. The only thing GW2 has going for it is esports level PvP. Definately not for PvE lovers. This is comign from a diehard Guild Wars player who's been playing GW2 beta for months. Extremely disappointed.


In any case.. TERA is one of those games you either enjoy or you find too difficult to play (lets face it, you can't simply not enjoy the game.. you must find it too hard).. if you fall into the latter, go elsewhere and do something you like instead of acting like some mystical expert on all things MMOs making sweeping statements about the failure of a game because it doesn't fit *your* model of an enjoyable experience.

Ignore this little kids who come to every game want it to be Free to Play. They think all their QQ will make a different making Tera go Free to Play.

In my opinions, I'm against Free to Play game. Let them QQ all they want, only fail game will go Free to play.

this is the best MMO i have ever played. i am sure it will be fine. you have to remember the majority of people who use forums are there to complain.

i know a few people who said they would never play MMO's but when they saw Tera they said they wanted to try it.

Modern gamers are fickle, elitist, selfish, and self entitled children. On top of that, one half of them are ignorant and the other half are trolls. It's sad. I blame the internet. Things weren't like this when we didn't have the internet.

I totally agree with your post...I dont get how so many QQers managed to get on this forums. I mean Tera is by FAR the best MMo I've played for a while and believe me I've played alot of them. This is not coming from a Fan boy I usually dont even take the time to praise the games that I play, but this one deserves it.... Tera has so much potential and I hope that it lasts as an MMO...

This forum is full of Bs...at first it qas kind of funny but as of now... I still cant stand and understand some of the complaints I have seen about this game on this forum...I mean common...they have to face it....this game has a definetly great potential and even though it was not the first to develop that kind of combat system...it does it pretty well and should only receive Praises from us...or at least...CONSTRUCTIVE SUGGESTIONS....

Anywayz I hope you guys have a great time on Tera and that you'll stick with it for a while..I will definetly do...

I wonder where all the people saying this is the best MMO I ever played base there opinion on. Any long time MMO player knows at the current state of TERA this is not true, it has potential yes but I have yet to see rifts without lag, battlegrounds, some dungeons that are actually hard to finish.

Dont get me wrong Ill keep playing this because for me this MMO is fun to play but to say its like the best MMO? seriously what is it that makes this the best MMO then?

agree with Darkdanjal it has lot of potential but its not best thing out its i still have my doubts about tera
some ristrictions in game make me think that some features in tera reek free 2 play features but it has nice combat and good graphics but does not mean its going be best thing ever its just a MMO

this game has been out for a year in korea i did expect lot more then what it is now this game has too much reistrictions to my likeing but i ignore it and see the potential this game has.

one thing i like to see is more Class custimizion and incenstive to do PvP and maybe other things to do besides PvP and Dungeons and quest some minigames would be nice and maybe fix the Armor remodeling to be able use any armors

just things like that wat really makes me think that lack of features for a 2012 mmo
