PVE servers will have consensual GvG as well as battlegrounds.

PvP = you might get ganked while leveling. fun endgame

PvE = safe leveling. at endgame people in your server hold their hands and sing Kum Ba Yah

or PVE= people at end game still do death matches and duels as well as doing rifts (and bgs when they come out) as well as the political system and end game hard mode dungeons

PVP server= all that +gank fest.

^That much is true. Even though damn hard to steal somebodys mob in this game, after its tagged they would have to do way more dmg than you to get credit.

From what I've read on their main page most of the PvP related stuff won't be available to the PvE servers at all. You can do duels and group duels via deathmatch but that's it. No GvG, OWPvP of course, and they don't plan on launching with rated BG's at launch so I don't know if they will be accessible to the PvE servers either. I'm playing it safe so I can access any part of the game I wish when I want.

I would add that if you are coming into this wanting to be more of a solo player, I do not recommend a PvP server at all. Playing as a duo or trio while leveling on PvP makes things a lot more bearable when it comes to ganking.. at least until fluffy touch bunny something or the other comes in with their entire guild and ganks everyone for fun lol.

You read incorrectly. There have been posts by mods (such as minea) talking about how they are working on bringing consentual GvG to PVE servers. You need to stop reading random bs that was posted on the forums by new users as fact.

VoT has been great besides that. Got ganked a few times doing crabs but it was fun. One of the times they tried I was tanking the crab and used it to kill the PKs XD

We got into a guild war with Benny Larva and Aphotic. We were doing well against Aphotic and probably losing to Benny Larva (pegasus campers) but the server reset right before the war ended and we ended up beating Benny Larva and losing to Aphotic so that was kinda backwards.

Oh and I won my 2nd 1vs2 :D. Against an Aphotic Zerker and Mystic combo of = level. Hows the PvE server?
