My followup video to the Tera First Impressions and GW2 First Impressions videos. Thank you to everyone who has viewed my videos so far and supported me. I am greatly enjoying Tera at the moment!

P.S. This video is over an hour long. I wanted to get everything out there so hopefully I don't have to touch on this topic again, and can move on to doing Tera specific videos. I have lots of stuff planned and can't wait to get it started!

I like the video, just the first 10 minutes explaining your previous video is a little unnecessary just for future reference

I'm about 45-50 minutes in right now and this review is amazing, brings both great and bad points about each game and is an extremely balanced and unbiased review! I hope the developers see this thread cause these are some great points that make both games great

Great job again!

This video is probably too long for the developers to pay much notice to but thanks XD

First off I want to say that I've been waiting for GW2 for years and by no means I'm a fanboy. I was in GW2 beta and it was everything I expected and then some. I also can't wait for the next beta and the eventual release.

That said, I watched your entire video and felt it was really well done and unbiased. Even though I disagree with a few of your thoughts, I respect it completely and understand why you stated them. It's unfortunate that your video received a lot of hate among the crowd over at GW2guru. I have an account over there and some of the fanboyism is at a ridiculous level. You can not have a good constructive discussion over there if you're mentioning Tera, SWTOR, Aion, WoW, etc etc etc

good job though

Thanks for the comment and support. I'm shocked at the horrible representation the GW2 community is providing of themselves. If anything the reason I wouldn't play GW2 on release (considering everything is fixed) would be because of their incredibly hateful and unintelligent comments.

Dude, Elin are fun to play. It's that simple. It's the same kind of fun I got from playing Mario games back in the day. Their animations are fun, watching them run around is fun, their dance is fun. What I don't understand is how people can be ashamed or embarrassed to play them. I have no problem playing an Elin, alone or with family and friends around. It's no different to me than playing Toad or Princess Peach in Mario Kart. I like them and they are part of what appeals to me about TERA.

*shrug*

It's hard to say how many of them are actually part of the community, vs people who just like trolling the easily angered fanbase of a game, though. The ingame community is extremely nice, overall.

I've heard this a couple times and experienced the same thing myself. It's too bad the fanboys who haven't even been in the game yet are driving away possible players who see their raging anger in the comments section. It's reminding people of the LoL community and thats the last thing anyone wants to include themselves in. GW2 will lose players because of the way a small portion is throwing a fit all over the internet right now and viciously attacking anyone who reviews their game.
