Why are the translations so terrible when the game was delayed like an extra year? I'm sorry but those translations are so terrible I don't even know what else to say. Like seriously, it's barely a step above the low budget google translation patch those of us playing early K tera used.

Could you identify this, "terrible translation"?

I'll give you one example calling pandoras boxes "engines" that doesn't even make sense.

...They are engines. Honestly I think you're just a really bad troll. The translation is spot-on, from wittiness like the deaf bomb instructor to the amusing pop culture references like "Secret Life of Trees" and the earlier riff on "Bridge Too Far".

yeah. no ideas wut you be talking about.

if you are really all up in arms about it. write up a report and submit it. you know. like a tester. in some kind of beta.

I went through evevythig so fast that I didn't pay much attention to translation. Text seemed fine to me. Voice acting was ok, not spectacular, but fine for a translated game. Lips were not in sync, but this is to be expected from a translation. I was very pleased so far.

People read the quest descriptions? ouo I didn't notice. I just looked at my quest helper on the side to show what I needed to do. Made it lots easier when I found out there's a "!" Mark by monsters I need to kill for my quests. :3

You're under the assumption that the game was delayed for "translation" or westernization.

Game was delayed so enough content could be added to keep western players from bouncing out after the first month.

Agreed, just imagine how quickly people would get bored it Tera released with the same amount of problems and lack of content as the Korean version. As far as what the NA version plays like, I liked it...the lip sync made me wanna cry though. So terrible........

I play K tera though so I obviously don't really care what the text says. I just thought it was funny that the translations weren't very good and the game got delayed another year.
