Yeah that's right I said it.
This game rocks, one of the best I've played in a decade.
If you don't like it no one is keeping you here.

Why are there people on these forums that would obviously rather be water boarded than play this game or talk with this community?
They actually are starting to seem to make up the majority at that.

I say this game is awesome and none of your hate is going to change that.
You lose.

Agreed. Sexy bump.

I agree entirely. The game itself has potential.

...But I do hate the little ability bugs, like rubberbanding teleport jaunt, and failing lock-ons.

Mainly due to latency, the only actual bugs are syncing bugs within the client when melee classes like slayer and warrior use backstab, it can throw off entire fights.

Overall I love TERA, it has potential, haters can go elsewhere.

I didn't say it was perfect, I've never played a game that was though.
Prince of persia sands of time was damn close to perfect... it's an oldie now though.

The sad thing is minus the problems I experience with basically every online game I've ever played that uses a real time combat system. Lag happens.

The vast majority of the REAL problems with this game is being caused by players being [filtered]s though. It has nothing to do with the game itself.

P.s. Enchanting isn't broken, it's working exactly the way they set it up too.

TERA is awesome! I've been a pro-TERA advocate since NA official release. TERA is my first MMO and I'm having a BLAST playing the game (when time permits). TERA has opened my eyes to many other MMO's, one in particular I've been playing in beta is Blade and Soul (really hope this game releases in NA - pretty awesome game).

The major problem I'm experiencing with TERA are the same problems everyone else is having. The area's where BHS/EME is failing with TERA are the bugs and server latency/lag issues. Issues that continually are not being addressed in a timely fashion.

During my lvl'ing from 1-30, the game ran pretty flawlessly but as I progress, and with the addition of each new weekly patch, the bugs in this game becomes more relevant and very noticeable.

From BAM battle lags, dungeon lags, UI lag, spell/skill casting rubber banding, general latency issues ... the list goes on and on. I'm now approaching lvl 50 and the game has become all but playable or enjoyable because of these issues.

I too was one who would often wonder why everyone complained sooo much about TERA on the forums. Now after experiencing these issues for myself, I'm beginning to wonder about TERA's dev team. Instead of bug fixes and updated content for those lvl 60 characters, the dev team has been hard at work with putting together "non-interactive" podiums, arena areas, and such. Fluff items that doesn't help the game yet BHS/EME bragging about how wonderful TERA is becoming with these "enhancements". Huh!

I'm still holding out for this huge "late summer" patch that supposedly will fix these issues and release new content but in the mean time, I'm beginning to understand why players are bailing from this game. As I've said before, unbeknownst to me, I've spent a considerable amount of time playing Blade and Soul and other MMO's, the problem is, I'm actually paying money to play TERA.
I'm finding these beta and f2p MMO's far more superior than TERA at the moment. Though, I still love TERA, I'm waiting for BHS/EME to listen to their "paying customers" requests and for fixes to be released in a more timely fashion. I mean really! Why are we waiting until the end of summer for changes to take place?

People often forget that a dev. team is really a collection of various smaller teams working on their own things. EME often says they're a smaller company but regardless, it's still not one guy in a room somewhere choosing only 1 task at a time from a pile of problems. This also does not account for BHS's involvement in the process. Not all things are being worked on by EME. They have regular conferences with BHS about things. I'm sure BHS is working on some issues in tandem with EME. To suggest that because they're working on adding these silly meeting areas somehow damns the rest of the problems to languish unattended is simply inaccurate.

If you guys are going to celebrate every time a 10 y/o's mom buys him a copy of Tera for his birthday after seeing it in the bargain bin at Gamestop for 75% off, perhaps the game is not doomed after all!

Mazel Tov!
