so far playing the GW2 beta all it is is a warhammer/rift clone. Tera blows it out of the water, I was expecting a lot more from GW2

you missed something and that is that all these games were EQ1 clones in the way they were made up.. nothing has changed in the MMO world as whole in 14+ years of graphical MMOs save that the games became easier to play and faster.

every MMO has had interesting little ideas but none of them have escaped the way the MMOs have worked as w whole

might have to wait till we can "jack in" to the net to finally escape the issues

could be the change has come or is coming or maybe not only time will tell no point worrying about it

Plenty of MMOs have great ideas, but they don't necessarily have the right funding. A lot of F2P game developers have good ideas, it's just that it's hard to make MMOs profitable without completely screwing over your customers when you're not pulling in 5 million subs.

sadly most game makers are now spending way too much on games in creation and then get stuck behind the eight ball

WoW didn't really do that well at first but came out at just the right time as EQ had lost it's shine to many players.. since then WOW became a power house of a game that people keep trying to emulate to make big money rather than making a game the is great.

we can hope that eventually this will change and maybe this is the game (who knows)

I agree with this. Dragon Nest would be a great game if it was open world and pay to play instead of pay to win.

Yeah been playing GW2 for a while now and its ok for F2P game but that's not saying much. Counterstrike is a pretty fun F2P game as well.

I think GW2 is badass.

I'm in love with the Charrs, the epic cities etc. But honestly why should you care if players play GW2, it's not a monthly fee they can easily play both.

Gonna have to agree, I just got done playing for an hour and all it did was make me miss Tera. If it was a monthly sub I would be uninstalling it already.
