I wonder how many GW2 fanbois will come to the same conclusion as the OP.

And even if some do, only a small percentage even knows about TERA to take refuge here.

Market your dang game, En Masse.


hopefully they wait to market it..

AoC was well marketed and because the early part of the game ran more like a closed beta than a finished game it tanked hard (sadly it is interesting but under played making it a sad and lonely game)

i am hoping to find a place that is less WoW now but only time will show what happens..

I agree, Tera needs much more Publicity than it has, but then again wouldnt want to Servers to crash all the time due the server load

so maybe more Publicity later is a good idea, I just dont know what the capacity Tera servers have

Mos definitely snatching up a copy of GW2. Art direction alone is enough to get me to toss some paper. Nostalgia as well.. I remember playing GW on my first ever PC.. Good times..

With that said I'll be playing both.

Everyone needs to go out and advertise on other servers, not that this game is better or their game "is trash come" nonsense. Just simply say, "Try it" I'm pretty sure for most of us, it was just that simple to get hooked.

Learning what else is in the game is a bonus =]

Also just wanted to comment on the new patch. Nexus'? You mean we get "dynamic events"? tooo??

Even better, on the tera road map for features, Tera is supposed to get WvW in the future, though not in an instance away from the world. Other worlds will be able to invade through Nexuses that spawn around towns and cities. Though that is probably a year of more away.

What's crazy is that so many veteran MMO players truly have thought this.

you missed something and that is that all these games were EQ1 clones in the way they were made up.. nothing has changed in the MMO world as whole in 14+ years of graphical MMOs save that the games became easier to play and faster.

every MMO has had interesting little ideas but none of them have escaped the way the MMOs have worked as w whole

might have to wait till we can "jack in" to the net to finally escape the issues

could be the change has come or is coming or maybe not only time will tell no point worrying about it


wait wait, EQ had a talent system?

He compared it to RIFT, RIFT is practically a direct copy paste of WoW. They're not even trying to hide it.
