Baratan, you just made the biggest philosophical blunder there is. You said they shouldn't cave in to one sides demands? Well by censoring the game they did just that, they gave into one side who said it was offensive and ignored those who wished to keep it how it was.

You sir, have just taken yourself out of the debate.

I did not say "They shouldn't cave in to one sides demands" I questioned why you believe they should cave to your side's demands and yet not cave in to the other side's demands. Perhaps the decision to redesign certain aspects of the game was not one outside side or another, perhaps that was their own side and was not due to caving to anyone elses' demands. You've offered nothing to suggest otherwise.

Only one side was making demands. The other side didn't exist until those demands were caved into. And the first side may in fact be a fictional side, as EME have never offered any justification for the censorship.

Though now the 'other side' does exist and demands that EME cave in to their demands in opposition to the demands of the first side. Why should they cave for one side and not the other? If at the time of the decision there was only 'one side' as you clearly stated then why shouldn't they cave to demands by the one only existing side?

1. The side may not have existed at all
2. Even if they did, demands should not be met simply because they exist. Justification is (typcially) required.

If I went to your bank and said "Give me all of Baratans money". Should they say "Well, Baratan isn't here saying not to hand over his money, I guess I'll do it". And when you find out and demand they take your money back, would you stop and say "actually why should they listen to me over this other guy who wants my money".

No, I think in that case you'd realise that actions need justification even if they are to meet demands, and that undoing unjustified actions is a justification in itself.

How are we demanding EME cave into our demands precisely? All we are demanding is that we be given the adult decision to utilize the COMPLETE PRODUCT we paid for which includes the original textures (which are still housed server side I can guarantee you, they keep back ups of everything for a just in case situation.). I personally played the Korean TERA and enjoyed it despite the occasional running around of a semi-nude character and as such I expected the same experience but as they have removed and altered the game to a large extent the product is not complete from a personal point of view. They have removed and altered content to appease a demographic and ignored the opposing demographic.
