Scrolls are worth only as long as the good call "game time" is worth something. And it devaules very, very quickly. Tera has neither the playerbase, not the quality for that to be really "useful" for any longer time. EvE hit the problem as well - that's the reason why CCP added Aurum to the mix - which essentially allows plex to be used to buy vanity stuff (the can be sold for isk in game btw).

All those are still nothing else but bandaids to games' problems. EvE's situation was not too good few years ago from RMT pov (read, it was farmed and rmted to death). CCP had to do something (and they did) but they also had to provide the replacement - or - fix the game. They chose the former for the most part.

Oh. Sorry, it's the first time I heard of it. I am curious, what other game has other players paying full price for my discounted monthly service?

EVE-Online is the first to do this type of thing...

they're called PLEX (Pilot License Extrensions). Basically 30 days time which can be bought in game.

All of tera's content was taking from other games.

Interesting topic, but I do agree that in the end, Chronoscrolls benefit both players and En Masse, Keep up the great work En Masse.

Eventually everyone will have their +X everything and no one will have any need to spend gold on massive goldsinks like enchanting, money will pool in the system, prices will grossly inflate.

There is never going to be any way that anyone can possibly create enough content to keep the 8 hour a day gamers busy forever. ..they just never will.
...and if by some miracle they did, those same gamers would just complain about how the forest of infinite things to do was too foresty.
Most this content noise goes away with the new school year, I bet...
