The LFG channel needs a timer (repost)

I was just thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to put a Timer between posts in the LFG channel To help stop the Spam of players chatting about non sense in a global scale. So that it could be used for idk LFG?

I'd agree with this. It's not meant to be a global chat channel. There is no reason anyone needs to post in LFG more than once every minute. It would help restrict that channel to it's purpose and not just for soapboxers and internet fights.

Why does LFG have to be global anyway. I think it would be personally reasonable to limit LFG to people within that zone. Similar to area, but would filter out the spam from area. That way all of the people who just want to talk have no reason to bother the people who want to seek members. The UI for LFG is already global and that honestly seems like enough. I would bet anyone who is actually looking for a group would have just as easy of a time this way.

luckily, most of today, LFG became an actual LFG channel for a while. Even Trade wasn't too bad. Just wait until launch and things will be much much better.
