Why don't you look at a quad channel RAM package instead of the dual channel packs. It could be cheaper.

It's a quad. All 2011 boards are.

LGA775 boards did triple channel. LGA 1155/6 did dual.

That computer looks so powerful and beefy that I wouldn't be surprised if it teleports through time and space just to refuel on dinosaur blood when ever its in need of substance.

Just saying.

on that note... Do you need a 1200 watt power supply? Pull up a PSU online calculator to figure out what you need, I wouldn't be surprised if you could get away with a 1000 watt PSU, or perhaps a little less. But if your future proofing yourself then don't mind me, just passing though :)

You are right. OP could probably get away with an 850 watt power supply.

I have a 850W on my second rig & its barely getting by.

I plan on adding lots of HDDs & maybe, if theres room a 3rd ATI card perhaps a 7850 As its a Lower TDPd & smaller 6950 for bitcoining, if not a dedicated PHYX card...a 460 GTX perhaps or a 295 GTX, maybe a Tri-SLI Setup with the 580 once price drops again. Heck knows... but aye future proofing for newer GPUs, etc.

Pass on the physx card. Not worth it any more. Most games don't use it. Hell even TERA could have and chose to stick with CPU physx.

If you want to add 3 cards the board you might want to look at is the Maximus Rampage IV. The sabertooth doesn't have the space for the 3rd card to fit without blocking all the connectors for your stuff at the end of the board.

as for PSU calcs I use this guy here
