I dont like repeating content, so i rarely stick around long once im at lvl cap, any idea the kind of hours of unique content a single character can get out of it ?

That's a tricky one.

Tera's endgame focuses around some extremely hard dungeons and a political system where you try to get your guild leader elected as the head of a province, at which point your whole guild collects taxes on the area, receives special mounts, etc.

I don't know of an MMO that doesn't have repeating content at the endgame, but struggling against other guilds for power will be unique and interesting and something most MMOs don't have.

hmm sounds unique but not interesting, unless your physically fighting over terrain it doesnt sound very interesting.

Ive accepted that mmo's suck for end game, thats why i move on to new games I enjoy the climb not being at the top.

One thing that worries me about the game is the whole player shops thing, ive seen it in other mmo's and it turns into a gold farmers paradise, its a sea of alt accounts and spam.

has there been word on what they plan on doing about gold farmers etc?

1. There are two ways to become a leader (Vanarch) of a province: popular vote or PvP BGs.

3. They've taken a number of steps against RMTers, including blocking Asian IPs and adding Chronoscrolls http://tera.enmasse.com/news/posts/introducing-chronoscrolls

Give the beta a try and know this: the questing isn't very good, but the BAM fights and dungeons starting at 20 are AWESOME!

When you see the forums, basically 90% of what you see it little nitpicks at the few things that actually bothers us. Don't let it get to you. The game overall is great and we are just passionate about it so we get like WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY overboard, a lot.

Test the game for yourself. Get to your first Basilicks at level 20.

You will be glad you did.
