You guys have seriously created one of the best gameplay MMO's out there, but the mechanics themselves are just killing my, and many of my friends wills to continue playing it.
We have done Baldurs temple 30+ times and seen only one enigmatic weapon drop that none of us could use. Every other piece of loot in the zone is complete garbage. In a game where the stats/loot are already pretty bland compared to others, this is really killing it for us.
After all these runs, I had 4 rows of gloves and 3 rows of boots saved up for enchanting. After blowing all of these, including all of my yellows (7+ per), my boots and gloves are still only +5. 7 gold items down and I can't get them past +5.
Now I'm looking at this enigmatic weapon i've been grinding the hell out of for the past half a month, and the excitement at getting it is all but diminished. Here is yet another piece of loot I'm going to have to drop 30 weapons into just to make it on par with my other level 60 weapon, not to mention all my gold from alkhests. And that's if it ever drops, I don't think I can take much more baldurs temple. That brings me to another issue...
There are literally only 4 items per tier that are any good. The rest is meant to be sacrificed. That is straight up boring. Liven it up a bit! killing two bosses so I can move on to hard mode and kill the same 2 bosses just isn't exciting at all. Even as a sorc, that single glowy blue disc fully enchanted is the only way I won't get booted from a hard mode.
tl;dr loot needs to be more fun, less grindy. This game just won't work in North America. We are spoiled and lazy from years of WoW ,and don't have time to spend all day every day grinding for a single item and getting absolutely no other rewards to go with it.
