This game is lacking something...

I really like this game but it's lacking something. It's almost the same feeling I got when I played SWTOR. The game has nothing "drawing me in".

There's no form of pvp aside from getting run over by people 30 levels above you, pointless crafting, and oddly, even less diversity of leveling options than SWTOR (which says a lot). That's pretty much what this game has to offer. The LFG is so slow I could queue, go wash my truck, come back take a shower, cook dinner, take a nap, then I might get in a dungeon an hour after that. And even if the LFG was faster, would it really matter? So you do a dungeon... then what? Go back to questing? Go back to getting run over by 50s?

This has been out a while... you'd think that the koreans would have wanted them to add something other than bad pvp and quests. :/

Oh well, one week left!

So... what would that something be? Solitaire?

I mean, just what are you expecting an MMORPG to do other than be an MMORPG?

Battlegrounds will be added at some point, and Nexus stuffs, and the political system will be working soon.

What other features would you like to see?

Something like... structured pvp, crafting that doesnt lick camel balls, some variety in the zones, a reason to play basically?

I can get that "[filtered]ty MMO experience" anywhere. I own SWTOR, Conan, WOW, Rift, Warhammer, AION...

I just figured w/ all the hype this game got, there'd be something other than aiming setting it apart from the rest of the trash out there.

I'd like to see world pvp having a point. Like, controlling zones for perks? Castles that you can take/destroy. An actual scoreboard for GvG battles so you know when you're ahead or behind..

Understandable to want those things, but you should know by now that not all games are going to have that focus. Most don't nowadays. You mentioned Warhammer, which has way more focus on open-ish PvP, zone control, keeps to take, etc. so why choose TERA over it? Just curious.

Warhammer is trash. And just because not all MMOs should have battlegrounds doesn't mean there should be NO pvp or [filtered] pvp. This game could be awesome. It SHOULD be awesome. I just wish there was a point to it all. PVE? what's the point? PVP? (lol) what's the point?

Nothing.

So what's so lacking about the variety in the zones? You've got your lush island that goes into a corrupted wasteland, a green Noob Forest zone, large rolling fields, a desert oasis flanked by farm fields and an abandoned mine, a tropical getaway, a huge stone labyrinth, a fantastical fairy lake zone with giant hollow tree, an expansive mansion outdoor dungeon... and that's just level 35.

They could do more with world PvP, I'll give you that - but that it even exists is a pretty big deal with what we have these days. Of course, there's Server vs. Server PvP on the way too. World objectives would be pretty neat, might mesh with the vanarch system, too.

As for crafting... I'm not sure what you expect crafting to be. You get mats, you make mats into stuff, boom crafting.

I'm talking about the variety of places to level. And, the sheer size of the zones. Sure they're big enough, but it's one big tunnel. There are no open spaces, it's one big tunnel that leads to another tunnel. Pigeon holed is the term most commonly used for this.

As for crafting... it's terrible. If you don't make potions, you're wasting your time.
