I totally agree. But I think we've seen how anything other than combat will be 'added'. Hopefully I'm wrong. =(
I want a vanity hat, I'm gonna have to gather, I want a little fairy I don't have to take care of, guess I'll have to gather, I want a few new horses and a lion, will have to pay money for each of them or hope to get a code, I wanna have an awesome skin, gotta wait for my 30 day sub to be up, I wanna have a new epic mount for awhile, gonna have to be vanarch.
The fluff is certainly in the game but the most important of it you have to actually play the game for.
I agree with with some have said it makes more sense to play the game to earn this stuff than to just buy it, rep points for mounts is a great thing in my opinion.
I'd like to see fluff you have to do certain things for like if we want mini games for a chance to win an nice vanity item or even an item that's better than what we have stat wise I'd like an npc to pose a challenge for me to do a certain dungeon or bam in a time frame or certain party combination. It's like a mini game and ads challenge as well as reward to afford extra/long lasting play-ability bn in the game, just having people buy stuff just to collect it doesn't get people out doing something.
I like fluff too but I'd like to have it implemented in a way that makes sense to keep the longevity of the game and people playing for a reason and not just because they payed 25 dollars for a mount. (just an example)
Now that the Premium Service whining has died down a bit...
WTB more FLUFF! PST ^_^
Upon adding Fluff, some in-game content that our subscription covers would be nice. Feels like a bank with hidden charges, what's next a "playing tax" or "excessive use". Jokes aside development is always nice.
Being able to further customize your gear and character in general:
