Same nyerk, different day. I know.

I get in to a Fane, and the first thing the tank says is "Kick the Archer".

I have done Fane multiple times, and I do great DPS and know my class, I've never had trouble completing this instance. I consider it to be quite simple actually (on normal). So I ask, "Why?". He simply says leave the group or he will just go afk.

So the group kicks me.

I waited an hour to get in to this dungeon for that? This is absolutely not conducive to the enjoyment of the game. This is downright abusive behavior and I'm not going to make generalizations and say that all Lancers are idiots like this one, but it's easy to see how being a Lancer provides the opportunity for them to ruin the enjoyment of the game for other people.

There needs to be a kick block in place that actually works (not like WoW's system) right off the bat of the instance...or something needs to be done about Lancer abuse. I wish I had any ideas but I need some time to think about it, all I know is this is unacceptable behavior that should be either moderated or somehow tuned to be obliterated.

So far I haven't had anything like this happen yet on my main (50 priest), but after all these stories on the forums I will probably just leave the group that that point. Unless I happen to be leader then I'll promote guy he wants to kick and leave the group.

I have no desire to play with people like that.

Take it out on the lancer's guildmates. Maybe that will teach them some manners. Sucks for the guildies, but that's the only recourse you have.

Get some balls. Kick the Lancers that do this. Don't sheep yourself into kicking player X because Douchebaggster Lancer of the Day isn't good enough to beat the dungeon without a "perfect" setup.

People whined incessantly about getting a cross server LFD tool. I for one am laughing my [filtered] off reading all these great stories of "abuse". Who would've thought that a terrible idea would end up with terrible (and humorous!!) consequences!!!!

I am sorry to hear that people have had bad experienced with lancer jerks kicking and leaving midway in instance, but not all lancer out there are like that. I am a lancer and i have ran many instance with all classes before and had never left one neither did i have a single problem with them.

Dear all lancer jerks thinking you're all that because you're the tanker.
Quit, just quit being a lancer. You're embarrassing us, the real lancers.

As a Lancer, I can tell you if you have a DB Lancer in your group, boot him. Re-queue and grab another Lancer.

These lancer as jerks threads need to stop. I'm lancer and I'm not a jerk.

That said, we can police this ourselves. lets make a list of jerks.

What was your lancers name/server? the community will deal with this, as it should be doing.

Also-- we can list non-jerk Lancers too :)
