It said on the Q&A beta starts at 12PM friday, is that afternoon? if so why? Shouldn't "friday" mean 12:01am? yeah i get the "people have lifes and jobs" that's cool, then don't look forward to a closed beta, limited time play through, i don't think that game devs should have to cater to people who "have a life" also, on a side note
Anyone know why i downloaded feista at 3mb/s and can't get past 600kb/s on tera?
I'm consistant at about 100-600kb/s but download everything else at a stable 1mb/s+
Seeing as I can't even download the installer, servers probably hammered... make sure to have P2P enabled and you might get better speeds.. I managed to download the Frogster EU version at about 2.8mb for last weekend's test that didn't happen!
Turning P2P off made me go from a 100k download speed to 5mbits. Try that and see if your download connects and speeds up.
that is 12 noon on Friday (Pacific Standard Time) You'll want to convert that to where you are as well.
Maybe so, but it still fixed my problem. lol It would of been cool if they would just give out a torrent file. You, the patcher is most likely just a gimped torrent client.
At least yours is downloading. Mine kept getting the "receiving corrupted data" message. I would leave it on before I went to my classes and come back to that message and only 15% done. Restart it and let it go overnight, then wake up to the same thing with only 40% done. Finally got it after at least 6 resets, but damn, that was annoying.
