Id like to think if you guys made good on that promise to purge names locked down by open beta ppl that havnt registered a retail key PRIOR to trying to sell us name changes, it probably would have been recieved better.

I got the point, but no one is complaining about name changes. Do we seriously have to go through this now, instead of 3 months from now when those names are finally released? Does the community seriously not have enough to complain about already that we're now QQing about stuff months down the line?

I'll translate what the OP said to something that makes a little more sense:
"EME, why don't you unlock the used names on inactive accounts asap (maybe now?) so you can get more money, sooner, with the name change service!"
I agree with Skyy's second post though . . . while they may be able to make good money that way, it's too soon to be unlocking those names. First month hasn't even gone by yet . . .

I'm pretty sure that there has never been a 100% guarantee that the names would be purged. They said they would look into it and thats about it.
Of course I can imagine them purging accounts that have never been signed into since OBT but I bet the majority of name reservations are from people that have played since then. Especially since OBT limited you to 1 char per server.
