You went over board with this change EME. It *needs* to be toned down, by about 20% especially now that failing to successfully enchant an item does not remove a previous enchant level.
They should have kept the gamble, but made the failure rate lower and increase it the more you enchant.

I've never gotten past lvl10 in CBT and I'm not even there now because of the block out for east coasters yesterday so I can't say much about TERA's enchanting, but I will ask if anyone ahs ever played Dragons Nest by Nexus if it's similar?
I like the gamble in DN because sometimes I had a lucky streak sometimes I didn't, plus after I got to a certain rank with higher ranking armor (normal-epic) I had to use certain items to even enchant, is that sometime TERA does or no? Care to explain and enlighten? C:
