Tone down the success rate for enchanting please.

You went over board with this change EME. It *needs* to be toned down, by about 20% especially now that failing to successfully enchant an item does not remove a previous enchant level.

I think he's saying it's too easy now? If this is what op means, I agree. People cried that taking a gamble was too much of a risk so EnMasse delivered however enchanting is too easy now. Way too easy. I don't go 5 minutes without a notification that someone has gone to +6.

The point of enchanting is to gamble on the chance of improving what you have. It's suppose to be a challenge. If it wasn't they'd just make +6 stats the base amount for any given piece of gear. If it's going to be this easy it negates the whole concept and prestige of enchanting. You may as well get rid of enchanting all together. Since everyone can easily accomplish this goal it means nothing and is a worthless mechanic.

Personally I've never been fond of enchanting mechanics. Since Tera had them I dealt with it and actually spoke up against getting rid of the lose upon fail. I don't really care that they gave in and made it easier either, it keeps people play so whatever. But this is way too easy to the point that it will become a useless money sink. And this is opposed to worth while money sinks because there are those too and I won't speak against them.

No they didn't, read the patch notes, they made it easier but it is way over board.

You ethier don't notice the +6 and over spam on your server or are playing on a server by yourself. Did you play beta? How often did you see +6 spam?

+6 and +9 should not be as easy as it is to obtain, as I said, there is no penalty now for failing an enchant, so there was no real reason to increase the success rate.

They should have kept the gamble, but made the failure rate lower and increase it the more you enchant.

Sometimes it's not the same people complaining about the same thing. There were people that were happy or at least indifferent to enchanting just the way it was. But they don't get noticed because people only speak up when they have a complaint.

I've never gotten past lvl10 in CBT and I'm not even there now because of the block out for east coasters yesterday so I can't say much about TERA's enchanting, but I will ask if anyone ahs ever played Dragons Nest by Nexus if it's similar?

I like the gamble in DN because sometimes I had a lucky streak sometimes I didn't, plus after I got to a certain rank with higher ranking armor (normal-epic) I had to use certain items to even enchant, is that sometime TERA does or no? Care to explain and enlighten? C:
