Too Easy?

I don't recall any mention of level 1-40 content being made more difficult, just revised.

Revised =/= difficult.

Don't understand why anyone would want harder mobs to grind on.

Normal mobs should be soloable for any class while dungeons and bosses need a good party.
It's common sense

Last thing i wanna do is find full party to do quests wth -.-

Again with this? How hard is low level solo content supposed to be? Seriously.

I think everything leveling wise is fine. If you want a challenge go fight a world boss or try to 4 man some instances. The content from 1-22 is easy yes. But i know i died trying to solo Basilisk's a few times till i learned how they move and act. Fact is the game is easy right now, but it doesn't have to be unless you want it too be. My only issue would have to be that feeling of being hard pressed to skip too a new area because I'm already too high level to continue the quests given to me in the location i am.

I found that as I leveled, mobs did start to become more difficult. Whether that was due to having a partner come to their aid, random tactics, or flat out non-stop attacking. People that think you can just stand right in front of the mob and keep trading hits are going to get frustrated really quickly. I loved the feeling of dodging and blocking attacks until I had an opening and then unloaded several attacks in a row to just decimate the mob with my berserker.

And as for difficulty, anyone that started playing Everquest when it was released will probably be able to tell you the "fun" of dying (repeatedly) under level 10. And having no idea where your corpse, with all your stuff on it, was located. For the sixth time. And it was night out. And your human didn't have night vision. Aaaaaand it was raining. Kids these days have no idea how easy they've got it!

Haha I remember how bad that was too. Worst part was if you aggro'd a mob and wanted to get away they would follow you for the rest of time. No resets. Just pure devotion to your player being a corpse.

You are right Kids have no idea.

I played some of the PS Version of Blade & Soul, pretty fun, it has a much "Darker" tone to it than TERA, after playing both of them i don't really put them in the same category anymore. They both look good to me.

Yes the story BnS set is pretty sad but epic. BnS is more story driven than tera, its on the lvl of single player in same case speically with the way intro set it up. Unlike Tera where your just 1 of the solider in BnS you are the main character.

Ii's so funny hearing ppl chat about games, WoW is to easy, Tera is to easy, swtor is to hard(yes it was said in beta i was there).

Is there truly a grey area for to easy or to hard???

It's not like every gamer is as skilled as the other, tweaking difficulty I believe is a hard thing to do, you want it to be easy enough for players not to quit, and hard enough to keep the experienced gamers interested.

All the previews I am reading say the same thing. That Tera is too easy and poses no real challenge. Even IGNs latest preview picks a beef with how easy the game is. Should we be concerned that the content not be interesting and challenging?

Not once in that whole review did it say that tera was too easy and posed no real challenge, in it's entirety. Not even hinted at.

You, sir, are a f***ing moron.

Yeah the bottom half of that last post is me, although I somehow ended up making it part of the quote.
