Names, titles, whatever. My point remains, its a good way to tell who you shouldn't bother talking to.


Under certain circumstances yes, player names like "Upthepooper" is just begging to be killed (which I did about 15 times) But Guild names massing anywhere from 10-300 people congregating on your screen and blatantly violating the ToS with public indecency and inflammatory wording that are intended to provoke or offend an entire populace is ridiculous. It isn't something that is up for debate, If it is a bannable offense, EME should not be sitting back and letting it get out of hand, Just nip it in the bud and remove the guild name.

Honestly, I would much rather have them all in one guild so I can avoid them. If its against the ToS, then I'm guessing EME will get to working on that after all the other issues get cleared up. People like that will keep doing the same thing regardless.

I know where you are coming from and the game would be much nicer if stuff like this could be avoided, unfortunately people are jerks. They stupidly work really hard at offending people, it boggles the mind sometime how hard they work at it.

Report it in game and move on, I say.

I agree with you, FP. Don't understand why someone would even want to be in a guild with a childish humor or blatantly racist/sexist name. I'd rather be in a guild with a cool name like Dragon's Breath, or Legion of Darkness, or something like that. Apologies if those are actual guild names, just thought of them, haha.

I do report it, Just trying to make sure EME has it checked in their to-do List. their hands seem full with subscription issues at the mo, But the game environment needs to be cleaned up. Untill then, I will just keep killing them I suppose.

Yeah, actual guild names, But i think the rub my (blank) one was banned as I haven't seen them, and their icon was a well I cant even say it, but it wasn't very funny or sexy.

Guild names in general are pretty pathetic, and uninspired. But at least don't be disgusting to large amounts of people because you have the opportunity to do so. That is the defining point of being a Horrible person, and a Decent one. Everyone has an opportunity to be nasty, it's those that don't is who you should have respect for.

This is directed at EME, but no doubt will get a lot of backtrollery.

Inappropriate guild names are all over the place. I personally don't particularly find it offensive, but it's just disgusting. Names like "Rub my ***" and "Tight Butthole" or "Merica Fck Yeah" need to be regulated actively by a Game Master. Either Delete the guild or Rename the guild to something generic, And no don't give them back their tokens either, they should know better.

This game is Rated M for mature, But the problem with that rating is the name itself, No one mature seems to play games any more. I don't need to see 50 people with guild names(AND PLAYER NAMES) like that clouding my screen. It's a bit early in release but seriously.. It's time for some ban-hammer action. at least when it comes to Guild names.

i agree that guild names need certain regulation, but i disagree with your assessment on what should be regulated. Names like "Rub my ***" and "Tight Butthole" or "Merica Fck Yeah" are not offensive the same way as a guild name such as "the Third Reich" or one that involved a racial epitaph i will not name here. Names invoking or embodying genuine hate need to be reined in.

Names involving sexual innuendo or curse words are only offensive to the type of people who cannot stand someone behaving or expressing outside their own sensibilities, and such people should not be used as a measure of what to regulate or leave alone. As you said the game is rated M, sexual themes falls under that umbrella, as do curse words.
