Fully support this thread! Especially adding more hair colour + skin tones!
Where do I sign?
I'd like to add a thought I am having. Having played mmo's for such a long time, Many social aspects and designs are minimalistic to non existent or have faded away. I feel a rambling coming on.. :)
In game player customization of their avatar for instance. The ability to change clothes, color and hair styles including beards. Tailors could actually be Tailors then and their crafting could include CLOTHES! Ponder that! Perhaps tier the crafting professions such as the original SWG did with their Artisan. That's another thought. Ugh!
Eating and drinking designs to where we have too. Period. Why not? It's game play and doesn't have to be cumbersome. Wait, another thought! COOK Profession! This has worked well in other mmo's. Fatigued because your not eating and drinking? For shame! Drinks anyone?
When I saw the stamina feature of Tera, I was amazed. It's back! I was so into Star Wars Galaxies that when World of Warcraft came out, I bought and I doubled gamed for only four months. I never could get into World of Warcraft even though some of the new features they brought to mmo's were very nice. Item mail for one I think. I also remember swimming underwater, holding breath but was able to find bubbles to gain your breath back. This appears to be simple but it was fantastic! It also brought about thoughts of possibly seeing a developed world under water just as much as having it above ground like we do.
Many of the social designs, that have nothing to do with leveling or improving your character of any means but simply wearing non stat clothes or dyes n such. I feel all these things should not be expensive money sinks and temporary. It simply is the fun factor and keeps people around.
It's already been noted by En Masse that all character creation options from Closed beta will be locked in for Open Beta and launch, no further expansion.
I do agree with the OP however.
^ You have a funny way of spelling "BESTEST EVAR!!"
Another good addition is to have a few samples of facial expressions in the character creator, so you can test out your facial proportions before you get in game and realize that your character's mouth is too big...
I agree with the original post. I would love to see some additional customization implemented to give the player characters more individuality.
I fully support and endorse this thread. Wonderful work and effort, thank you so much for this.
