I just can't believe that EME would let it go w/o any punishment for the exploiters. It kinda unfair for the ppl who worked hard for their gear. Countless time running dungeons/grinding BAMs for money/gold stuff to enchant their gear. And guess what, it's all failed. Then after that I read the forums and figured it out that some ppl exploited this stupid bug and get all their gear to +9 w/o breaking a sweat :(.

Not angry/troll or whatever but I'm just disappointed. Also I can see why ppl are leaving this game. I think it will take EME a very long time just to get all the data

Forgive me if I've missed something obvious, I'm not overly familiar with the enchanting system - but how could you tell who was intentionally exploiting the system and who wasn't even aware that what they were doing wasn't supposed to work?

We can't, only EME can (at least that's what I think). And if EME can't = GG.

We worked our Dayum [filtered] off to get enough MONEY And Enchant Fodder, we [filtered] invested tons of our time and efforts in that and Then these complete noob [filtered]s, people who don't even know what a Gear Score is get their stuffs to +9 in a matter of minutes.

They Used a breach FULLY KNOWING What It would Do. They Should Get all Rolled back or Every Gear who'Ve been used with the exploit should get removed from the Game.

This Is Just Completely Game Breaking.


You're trying too hard. The random capitalization is too random. You should focus on the verbs and nouns, not anything else. This comes from the mentality that such words are weighted by their capitalization, a feature used by fringe conspiracists and certain religious fanatics.

Correct me if I am wrong, but was the bug/exploit on the Euro version of Tera which is ran by Frogster, if so then Enmasse cannot do a thing about it as they are only the publishers of it in the US, so if all of the above is correct then the complaints should be going to Bluehole Studios and Frogster where they can be doing some good, not here where EU version bugs and exploits are out of Enmasses control.

I only say the above because I have not seen nor heard about it being specifically on the US servers, however if it is on here as well then Enmasse should just remove all the weapons and armor that was enchanted past +3 with white Alkehest from everyones characters, this imo would balance things out.

Please don't post unless you know what you're talking about. The exploit was on both sets of servers and was already hotfixed this morning.

Never seen so much wrong in one and same post. You got it all wrong.

En Masse are developers and publishers of the NA version of TERA. Frogsters are ONLY publishers of the EU version of TERA. If Frogster needs anything fixed, they have to wait for En Masse or BHS to fix it for them. Besides the only reason why NA got this chaos is because European players posted it here on NA forums as well. This outbreak started on the EU servers.

Totally missed the thread where people are talking about NA players exploiting the same bug?
Also where did you get the +3 from? You can upgrade to +6 with normal Alkahest.

Totally ridiculous amount of gold to spend on anything in a game. I say tough tittehz if you blew that much gold It shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred gold since the average drop rate from 1-60 is just that. Most people have less than 2K gold. Which is / should be plenty at max level.

Unless there is an ATM machine in game that I"m not aware of, there is no legal means of obtaining that much.


I got to 60 and had 9,000 gold in the bank. And that's just leveling. You can get even more at endgame.

Hmm that's a lot of weapons, purchases, and rollbacks to be happening won't it? On an over-inflated bloated market huh already? :x

One exploit down, 30+ more pop up in their place. Happens to every-game.
