Frogster has right now announced that they are taking down the servers for the hotfix. This comes nearly 24 hours after the exploit hit the spotlights (while it has been known for a smaller population for at least a few weeks). A huge number of people, at least on the PvP server I play on, have enchanted their gear to +9, the market has experienced crazy inflation, and many, many people have made way more gold they ever should have at this stage, by exploiting that.
Personally I am envious of EME's response time. They can possibly still largely reverse the consequences of this exploit (and I hope they will). I don't see how Frogster will be able to do that, as the situation in EU has escalated far beyond a few players having illegal +9 Tier 12 gear.

Frogster understands how this bug is affecting the community and they're taking actions against it. Enmasse hasn't said a damn word on what they're doing or plan on doing, leaving everyone in the dark. Right now it seems like they aren't going to do anything to combat the exploiters or ill gotten gains.
Enmasse, it's time to man up and do your job. If you do this right, you can make up for a lot of lost faith. Don't screw this up I like this game too much to quit so soon. ;_;
