What a priest are you? 8)... If i die in whhm (that happend couple of times on the last boss at dark phase), i don't even care about my stam after res. I still feel myself comfortable enough.
As for changes and bugs... They fixed something, but the result itself didn't change. Ppl still do WHHM same way. I really wish, they would fix bugs itself, but not some environment in the instance that made the process of using bugs a little bit harder. WHHM is no challenge, too EZ and boring...
I agree when he says that WHHM is no challenge, but breaking the totems without any mana becomes challenging then yes ... but challenge by error, bug or a hidden patch without any warning.
This kind of thing just started happening after patch Tuesday so there's no telling what this is normal.
There are several ways to make the dungeon more difficult, this is one of the worst and most wrong and prefer to believe it's a bug.
Let's be fair... it's only annoying because you already had the "shortcut" before to be able to stay out of combat.
That said, the concept behind all of this combat lock during the fight (and especially during the totem and light phases) is such that they wish to keep your speed locked for a specific level of challenge. But...... in both instances it's already easy as heck to start with. It is, quite simply, an annoyance.
You shouldn't have trouble breaking columns even without mana... you have no need of it to hit the thing once to break it. :S
However, it IS bothersome when you die randomly due to ping issues or so on, and then cannot charm. Battle pancaeas are whatever, I can bring those. But I don't have the option of battle charms.
After my WHHM this morning I can confirm this is true, though it seemed to kick in around 40ish%.
I can also confirm that if you stand right next to the gate at the entrance, you will get out of combat, however Snatch loves to chase people who are across the room and he will definitely come for your group, so it's probably not a good idea to try this.
As a priest/mystic, not being able to get out of combat to run around this enormous boss faster is really flippin' annoying. A smarter patch would've just been to make mirror charms unusable in the instance, just like CS or something.
While this isn't really a problem, it would've been nice to know ahead of time so we could prepare, inform people to bring combat panaceas, start off with a purple fire 30m charms instead of just popping 15m charms twice, etc..
After all, in KNHM it's like this and I feel it adds an interesting level of difficulty (or at least did when it was challenging content) but everyone knew you couldn't charm or leave combat once you had jumped into "the nest/pit".
Right now it just feels like a sloppy attempt at trying to fix what was an ingenious development by the player base.
