WHYYY TERA?

Removal of Private Stores: The economy runs through the brokers now—a bigger market than any private store could hope to match. And those private stores won't clutter TERA's landscapes anymore.
New Denominations: A hundred coppers to the silver, and a hundred silvers to the gold. Old prices convert to the new denominations with one old gold equaling one new copper.

Removing a lot of the games draw and uniqueness. WoW is not a perfect formula for every game.

Yes removing a completely useless feature only used to scam noobs out of stuff that they think is worthless is totally turning this into WoW.

I never said anything is being turned into WoW. And it's not useless. Placing a Merchant where there arnt any brokers is a perfectly good example. You may get charged more but it's convenient which is not a scam and you see the price of everything go up depending on its convenience.

Pet stores are garbage, but I can see why people like them. Don't care either way if they stay or go. Wait, why am I here again.... oh look, a penny!

Rogue, people use these player shops at the start of opening cities for example buying paverunes or lucky eggs for extremely cheap from people who click on their stores not knowing any better.

So is this the devolopers fault or the users? I really don't see your point. Because people don't know how to use stores they should be removed from the game? If we took the same logic and used it on the whole game we wouldn't have a game would we?

Honestly to begin with, I was against the whole Pet Store thing, and was glad to see them removed, however, after using one myself in Tera, I couldn't disagree anymore to the removal of the personal stores.

It's nice that I can place my store near a dungeon (Nearest safe zone), and put up a decently priced item, where others can see it, and I am able to make a full profit rather then having to pay the Npc a portion of my profit, just for listing an item in the broker.

What made the "Pet Store" even nicer, was that I was unlike most games, able to do something else while I was selling the items I wanted to, I wasn't forced to stick around and wait for people to buy from me, but I was free to do as I pleased.

On another note, when I logged off, my pet was still on, and the next day I had signed on, i noticed my "Pet Store" had everything sold, I didn't even need to so much as keep my computer on, which was incredibly nice.

My personal opinion would be to keep the personal stores, however, I, like quite a few people, really dislike how cluttered area's can feel seeing nothing but personal stores one after another flood my screen, causing choppiness while I am playing. It's a tough trade-off, and sad to see it go, but I am sure it's for the best.

It would be interesting to see the "Pets" used as something else within the game though, such as "Pet Storage" as we've seen in Aion, would be nice to carry a little more stuff with you. Or even have the pets "buff" you for a period of time. It would be nice to see Blue Hole, and En Masse, be creative with the pets now.

No the point is these shops are virtually useless outside of that, yes, you can put them near dungeons, but the fact of the matter is its not hard to get to town, and its not hard to get back to dungeons, you can teleport almost anywhere in TERA.

IMO the only thing that the pet shops had right were buy orders, but if they add that to the broker then I am happy.
