Been trying to get into end game dungeons for about a week now, whenever i finally get in, i immediately get kicked from the group due to being an Archer. So i'm quitting since i don't have the time to level up a new character.

Maybe you might be luckier than i am as an archer, but take my warning, unless you have a very active guild that is willing to run, do not be an archer.

not really "very active" guild. queue with atleast one other person and you cant be kicked

also: many archers never get kicked, it is kinda a luck thing i guess and it does suck :(

My guild and friends are always happy for an archer to come along. Incredible big crits are always nice. This is a useless thread and Im amazed it hasnt been locked down yet. The only warning new players should take from this is that we have quite a few twits making useless posts on this forum.

I don't have a character at 60 yet, but assuming whoever you queue with isn't a tank, this doesn't prevent the tank from zoning in, deciding he doesn't like whatever classes he got put in there with, and dropping group. I figure it takes forever to get a replacement tank, so that doesn't always help things. :/

I've been in Fane well over 50 times and run some LoT and Ebon HM, never EVER had a group kick an archer. Had a few lancers leave because of zerks but never for your situation

ive had a healer threaten to leave unless i was kicked (sorc). they ended up kicking the healer

People are still scared of zerks and archers in normal mode dungeons? x_x

ive completed hardmodes no problem with both. archers do very comparable DPS, zerkers are noticeably behind, but still do more than enough. just in my experience with whom i consider to be good players

Well, I would guess the group the OP mentioned probably had a bad archer in the past. I agree with you with that.

Still, even with word spreading around about the future of certain classes, people shouldn't judge by class, instead by player skill x_x
