I play mainly as a Warrior tank, sure i dps when we have lancer in group, but everytime i do lfd i get dps role.

when dps gets 20 minute queues
healers get 30 min queues
tanks get 0.01s queues

there seems to be a lack of tank in queue as only 1 class can fullfill it


I understand for hardmodes warriors cant compete with lancer as of right now, but atleast for normals please give us an option to queue as tank!

Letting Warriors tank normals is perfectly acceptable.

Yep, I'd like to see option You can choose to go for tank or dps.

"Hey I can tank that dungeon".

Get the party going, 4/5 slots

Party: "Ok just need a Lancer"

"Guys I can tank... done it before, it's easy"

Party: "Ok, a lancer would still be good if we can find one"

i think what their afraid of is random warrior 5 ques up for tank and has no idea what he is doing. group fails and hates warrior tanks.

not saying lancer tanking is easy or not. i havent played a lancer beyond level 2, but overall the way a lancer tanks is simpler. you hold agro, you hold your shield up when they are swinging at you.

with a warrior it isnt as simple as pressing your dodge button when the enemy is swinging at you. even with 2 dodges you will be on CD and take hits. a warrior has to do more of a dance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_ZTX31fGtk&list=FLEnglpD56AKIGeeh7vNraqQ&index=2&feature=plpp_video shows it quite well (he tanks, keeps the mobs relatively still and takes little to no damage while rarely ever using his dodges)

of course in JP's situation if he knows what he was doing he could have made it alot easier for the group
