So here is the 4-1-1. Just got into a BT group like 30min ago after waiting an hour and a half. FYI it was a pug group used with the instance matching tool. So i get in and the priest asked has everyone done this. So in reply i said yes and so did every one else. So we were at the first boss waiting to tackle him head on when the priest whisper's me and says "hey the other guys are trying to kick you". So i ask why are you guys trying to kick me. The lancer says you don't do enough dmg. So i asked why do you think that and the slayer with only two red crystals on and 3 blue crystals and with a ilvl of 142 which is one lower then me says we would fail with a warrior in the group. So i said that was a load of BS and iv'e done BT probably over 50 times and 85% of those runes iv'e completed. But the lancer is still insisting i leave in hopes they get a better dps. I said they should give me a chance becuase i know for a fact i could easily out dps the slayer and archer for that fact. But they went ahead and kicked me after all.

So my question is when did warriors become crap or have they?
And two do the majority of pugs want a dps with a ilvl of 146 to pope up out of no where and just carry then through to the prize?

Yeah..personally I love having a warrior in group..they do a decent amount of damage and usually if they evade right dont require as much healing..

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until you said there was an archer in the group...at that point it convinced me they were just a bunch of a-holes...

Warrior dps is in their debuff, with a good Lancer in the party, a Warrior Lancer can reduce Boss endurance (damage taken and knockdown resist) by 20.5% which is a huge boost in damage. As Debilitate x3 (9%) stacks with Traverse Cut x13 (11.5%) which massively boosts the dps of any other DPS in the party.

The group was beyond ignorant.

They must be using those DPS meters? RighT!

Warriors have always been known to have lower DPS. We provide a nice endurance debuff as well as the option to off-tank when your godmode lancer goes down.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the way of the community. Youll be booted for not having enough gear, even though you were able to queue for the dungeon as per the requirements. And you'll be even more so targeted if you are a warrior.

I am not max level yet, but this is the vibe I get from this game's abysmal player base. Ive said it several times, ,this is the most hostile gaming environment out there. I usually play with two other people so this shouldnt be a problem. But in the off chance that I queue up solo, and this becomes a problem...I might consider unsubbing and just messing around in D3/ME3/re-sub to Rift until GW2 comes out.

This rage-kicking from godmode complex lancers needs to stop. Its going to slowly drag this game down until all you have left are Lancers, Priests, Mystics, Slayer and a Sorc. They'll cut out zerkers, archers, and warriors.

My only hope is that the QoA comes out sooner rather than later so I can queue as tank and see these dungeons. Then I wouldnt have to worry about those fooking lancers getting their junk all garbled.

I'm not sure why it's commonly thought that warriors do sub-par DPS when there are no meters to quantify the statement... unless they look at single attacks only; who can hit for the highest amount in one second or other such foolishness.

This is actually something I would like to know. How are people deciding that warriors are not good damage dealers?

Sounds like the group didn't know what they were doing. Warriors are a must for BT unless you are doing normal and everyone is way over-geared.

I'm sure they 'enjoyed' that last boss without you.
