Now before you all start trolling about vent,mumble,etc. Do know that those are programs for people who already know each other and I think the best way for the game to become more social is to add in in game chat. The game is great and so is its gameplay but it would be alot better if it had a higher social level. Vindictus does it because its an action game and it requires skill just like TERA and communication is key to a sucessful party. I'm sure with everyones support we can make the game better and better.

P.S Tera will shut down GW2 and im gonna make sure it happens =D

I agree this is a communication based game and throwing in a party chat is not difficult to do :P I would love to see this in game

I am okay with typing and then using an external program once I know people. But, it could be an interesting addition.

yah Typing in a fast pace game is auto death

The only game types I've ever seen that actually benefit from in-game chat are ARTS and FPS games. Perhaps it is the anti-social stereotype showing it's colors, but MMORPG players tend to avoid in-game chat. I remember plenty of MMOs that had in-game chat, but it never gets used. I think it would be nice to have for the people who might actually use it, but I wouldn't consider it a necessity at the moment.

This I can 100% agree with. I think TERA benefits more from voice chat than any other MMO I've played. I can see a definite need for voice chat now. (I died earlier today because I got caught in UI mode while trying to type)

if we can get enough support for it i know we can get them to add it in.

I Support in game chat we need it for when we are fighting together communication would be alot easier

I absolutely despise in-game chat. It bogs down the servers more than it needs to be.
