Its hilarious that during the lifetime of this thread the game has been updated with a new level 60 instance. Maybe the devs should come on the forums to comfort the trolls instead of you know, developing.
This is the same exact issue all mmos face in their first month. They are assaulted by the same small group of vocal elitists who plow through all the game content in one week and then endlessly complain how there's nothing to do.
The real issue here isn't content. It's elitism. The irony is that the elitists don't actually care about the content itself, they just want an easier way to get the best gear in the game quickly so they can lord it over people. This game compounds this issue by introducing an element of actual video game skill. The elitists are already the best at everything, only better gear could possibly make them a better player.
I remember about a month after RIFT launched there was a similar outcry for end game content. A rep for Trion checked the database and told them that there were very few players at the end-game. Then they came out with what seemed like an endless deluge of new content. People still complained.
I'm not saying the game has no issues, It certainly does, but for a game one month old, there is already a lot of content. Yes I know it was out in Korea.. I guess they don't complain as much over there? The vast majority of players are not even 60 yet. Many people have jobs, school, parenting duties, etc. If you don't, then good for you, but consider the fact that you are a minority. Publishers do not succeed by appealing to the minority. By the time the majority finishes all of the content, there will be new content.
