What? outlaws are also safe in safe zones?

I know it's PvP servers and yea there should be the option to become an outlaw but what? you can't attack an outlaw if he/she is in a safe zone?

I mean if you're gonna be an outlaw that's fine but be like hard core, you wanna stomp people? well you better stomp to the end. Because with safe zones, they can just camp a low level town, keep killing people and if someone stronger comes they just run into the town and gets all that kills for free, wtf?

You should be able to attack an outlaw anywhere even in the capital and no they can't hurt you back if you're not also an outlaw in safe zones. Also you shouldn't be allowed to mount as an outlaw.

Logically, you're correct.

Edit: Ideally, you're not.

Since outlawing is the only way (besides GvG) to open-world pvp (which is lame), they shouldn't be penalized for wanting to open-world pvp.

Also there needs to be some kind of reward for killing outlaws, especially high level outlaws. Because most of the time when someone tries to camp a low level town, nobody even tries to fight him. If there is a reward we should expect seeing a bunch of low level players gang up on a high level outlaw which makes the game much more interesting.
Instead it's just one guy trying to chase people down while everyone else just tries to run away on mounts.

you're not penalized, you just can't run away whenever you feel like it. besides, camping a low level town is not open world pvp

The problem with that is if you can attack outlaws in safe zones they should be able to fight back... if they can fight back people will just grief newbie areas by going outlaw in towns and GG.

For example if you play a pvp battleground in another game, can you just go into a safe zone when you see someone stronger coming? no you can't. you wanna play pvp you gotta commit to it.
the system we have now just encourages [filtered] play, where you find someone weaker, stab him in the back, and run to safety.

that's why they shouldn't be able to fight back., problem solved. if you're gonna pvp, don't go back to town.

Also I am so tired of hearing that ganking (a higher level player killing a lower level player that has no chance of winning) is not PvP.

it's a PLAYER killing a PLAYER.

It *IS* PvP just not meaningful PvP.

ok it is, so what? it makes no difference. you wanna pvp you better commit to it. I've never heard of a competitive game where you can just stop the fight whenever you feel like it.

Sorry but that's really dumb. There are legitimate reasons to go back to town and players being open to griefing with no chance to defend themselves because they have infamy is even more broken than the current system.
