Will it be wiped tonight (the moment the servers go offline), or will it be wiped a few days/hours before CBT2 begins?

I got my BETA code from being a member of IGN Prime & I just pre-ordered the game today (GameStop), after really enjoying myself during the CBT, Gamestop says they will send the code to me within 48hrs..

I tried calling Gamestop to see if they would send my pre-order code immediately after I placed the order, However the employee that picked up my call sounded very unenthusiastic.. He said "Wait 48hrs & if you don't have your code, call back then" even after explain the situation he stated "Sorry, I can't help you!"

I know eventually that all character data will be wiped, but right now I'm a little worried about my current CBT character & whether or not she'll be there waiting for the next CBT..

I hope they won't wipe the data at all till obt because I'm in all of the beta events (by being in the last alpha) but I haven't pre-ordered yet and probably won't be able to until Thursday of this week.

In the stickies above they have stated that CBT will not be wiped until the final one completes.

If you have key for all event i do believe you keep your data through out cbt, however for the people with only cbt 1 key i think your out of luck there =\ As for the code might as well just cancel your pre-order and buy online. Much safer XD

My friend just got into the beta at about 5am this morning then went to bed soon after. We will likely have to make new characters the next beta so we can play together anyways BUT!!!!!. I don't think they are going to wipe the characters that quickly.

It mentions that if you pre-order you will keep your characters and they are aware that a lot of people who have pre-ordered are going through a hectic time trying to get their keys. I think they will give people some time to get their codes in and not just go on a wiping spree.

These people seem reasonable and are aware of the time it takes for some to get their codes. I don't think you need to worry about being wiped right at midnight. It would likely be sometime before the next beta begins so I would give an estimate that you have close to 2 more weeks before they wipe your character.

This of course is just me assuming things but it seems logical.

The post found at (http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/news-announcements/topics/Closed-Beta-Test-1-3313) would contradict that because it says.....

"Want to join us for this weekend's closed beta test? How about every closed beta test? Pre-order TERA from the En Masse store for immediate access to all five closed beta tests and the opportunity to retain your characters and their progress for the duration of the closed beta period."
