White glowing dots!

Since the OBT patch I see white glowing dots in various places. This was not the case in the CBs. It seems to be a texture and/or shader issue with certain texture sets. Mainly a wood set. I see it on camp fires, some outpost fences and some bone assets (like around the level 20-ish basilisks)

Ya I saw them aswell. Visual glitches like this are usually a sign it's time for you to update your graphic card drivers. It didn't bother me enough to warrant losing precious beta play time but I will be updating before next weekend for sure.

I'm getting this on a gtx 680 running nvidia's 301.10 drivers released 3/22 (i.e. the latest), so at least on the nvidia side, the latest drivers won't help.

I was seeing them as well. ATI card here. Though I thought solid white textures like that usually meant either the texture file was corrupt, or missing? But certainly might not be applicable here. I really dunno what I'm talkin' about.

this is an engine problem, - my reason for saying this? if you alt tab out to desktop and then back to the game the, problem corrects itself - temporarily... sooo unless the driver stack is just picking out random textures to not load, while still keeping the framebuffer's integrity in all other aspects (this is highly improbable) this is an engine issue.
