Yes, you are being foolish. As the rest of the world goes on, continuing to have its fun without letting this issue bother them.
One day you may just give up that principle. After all, this isn't going away. What kind of business decision would it be to voluntarily give up all that quick and easy cash for one reskinned mount? The only reason companies dont just constantly do this is because there is a big difference between occasionally offering some vanity stuff for cash, and throwing everything into the cash shop.
Well if there starts to be EXP boosts and things like that (which they probably will) Then EME needs to rethink this sub that they are charging. A cash shop only works if the game has a massive player base like WoW with the sub model and has items and skins that look cool and players would want, and reasonable prices which Tera's shop does not have. The item skins are all horrible looking, there is no cool looking armor or weapon skins, or mounts (these mounts also need to be more then 280 speed) that are only to be found at the cash shop.
Right now the cash shop is like the game, horribly implemented and not finished or even thought out very well. They are only putting it out cause the games subs are dropping off at a massive right, and they need some other way to get more money from what little players they have. The problem with this tho is that the pricing is to much. I still belive that EME needs to just say and admit that Tera should have not been released when it was, stop charging subs, and start listening to the players, really listen, and not charge subs again tell the game is in a much more playable and finished state; where the players are happy to pay to play the game. Tera is the new FF14 at this point, the sad thing is EME, thinks they are to good to admit that they failed.
