i'm playing the game as well and i love the capitalism, since it brings exclusivity. if you at least read my post well you would notice im talking about market not about lack minded people like you :)
by the way, theres a part of it which i guess may fit you well :) (the advice about the castel and the fairy custome, i bet it matches with you in a lovely way)

Nobody gives a [filtered] about your personal problems, smug and rich, poor and humble, smug and poor, rich and humble, you're all being taken for a ride if you think cosmetic items in a virtual game should cost anything beyond a price you are already paying.
Blizzard had a ton of these threads. Cash shop is still there. They still raking in money hand over fist. It's here to stay in every game. Get over it already.

Want to tell me how much free content was and still is being released? Yeah.
you "non-cash shop supporters" are the ones who are being selfish, since it's a damn capitalist world, if i'm able to pay for having more than the rest of the bunch, and yet invest in the company which is providing the product/service, why not?? because you can't afford? what a joke.... you are not being obligated to pay for those items, but accept that there is a market share that is able to.
i definitely have nothing against the subscription plus cash shop model. I'm sure that with tera's predicate it can work well.
A cash shop in itself is not the problem. It is when it is incorrectly done that is a problem.
It should sell stuff cheaply, so that you impulse buy. Today I bought a new game for 2 Euro. It was priced in such a way that I just bought it on a whim, with just 5 hours prior notice on its existence. Sell vanity gear for 1 dollar each, and just see them get sold like candy. (Mostly because it costs like candy)
You also should take the opportunity to rake in cash for all types of customers.
- Sell levels.
- Sell endgame gear.
- Sell enchantments.
- Sell craft levels.
In short, sell everything you can think of, because there will probably be buyers, and it will make you money. Just remember, impulse buy price levels.

I was with you until this.
If you're not trolling then you're completely out of your mind

I think what he means is, that there is a demand for all those items he last mentioned. In other words if the only reason to have stuff sold on the cash shop is.." there is a demand for it" and if that is the defence offered, then be careful what you wish for.... you just might get it.
The ONLY reason these items are not on the cash shop yet is, ... the frog would leap if the heat is raised too fast... so they just raise the heat a little at a time... get you to accept the cash shop as it is...then slowly... add things that are slightly more objectionable... but not so bad as to chase too many people away....
Once all of you are ok with the new items, they will add more and more, and provide less and less for the actual subscription price.
" Two bulls are looking down at a pasture full of cows... the son says to his father..." pop let's run down there and grab two of them...." The father wisely says to his son..." let's go down there nice and slow... and eventually grab them all."
Sorry... this is just a case of gradually The devs getting you accustomed to paying for being " grabbed."
