I truly enjoy the warrior class, but Since I cannot queue as a tank in the Looking for group system it is a bit annoying, and if I glyph for tanking and queue as DPS... it just feels weird.

I've been tanking in dungeons via the IMS. The past few times I've gotten this from the lancers "First time here, can you give me tips" directed at the party.

My response: "Sure no problem, but I can tank this just follow my lead!"

Then I tank.. for practice... for fun... for glory. I'm not sure if they try to take aggro or not... but I don't lose aggro.. I don't get hit, and I put out some damage.

Warrior is the most complex class of all. It`s a combo class actually: you can DPS while solo-playing and be a valuable tank in groups/raids.Truth is,one must take some time to learn skills and use them according to the situation.

One good advice: avoid using skill chains blindly, some of them are less efficient than others. Learn keys binds for your most important attack and evasive skills. Don`t click spacebar each time chain starts, you may use another skill from another chain and get better DPS/aggro effect.

Confusion:

con·fu·sion/kənˈfyo͞oZHən/

Noun:
1.Lack of understanding; uncertainty.
2.A situation of panic; a breakdown of order: "the shaken survivors retreated in confusion".

Synonyms:
disorder - muddle - mess - bewilderment - muss

You can use a dictionary. Congratulations.

In fact the only thing in Tera more confusing are the Popori and a close third are High Elf men.

The fact is. Most people who play as a Warrior know neither how to DPS or tank.

Now the fact is a player who is geared, glyph-ed, and crystal-ed for tanking is at least half way there to competence.

So much "fact" in here...oh wait, that's just your opinion. However, this last one I quoted here I can agree with because it's just what I call VGCS or "video game common sense".

No. Wrong. Good day, Sir.

If I wanted to hear/see this line I would go watch the original "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with subtitles. Willy wonka, woo!

I totally hate warriors.

There, you see! Opinion! This is all you had to say. Simple and to the point. Not "dribble FACT dribble FACT dribble FACT drool warriors dribble dribble incompetence drool dribble HATE".

If this reading was difficult, please go die.

Ehhh, I'd say the reading was about middle grade school level. Not "too" difficult. Oh, and no.

PerfectLife, go have a PerfectDysfunctionalDay.

When Tanking as a warrior, in some groups. Some of the dps run in rooms grabbing all the mobs and coming back to me so i can agro it. I have no problem doing this, but sometimes they run to the healer and the healer gets the mobs on them, so everyone is running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. I'm running to the healer trying to save him/her doing agro skills while dps runs in more mobs, they die. I get blamed, they say i'm a terrible tank.

This is why it`s good to play the leading role and NEVER allow DPS classes dictate what mobs to aggro. You`re the tank, so you know better. If some noname DPS forgets his place in a party - instakick and get another hotshot with better brain. DPS classes are like dirt, they are everywhere.:)

SO...VERY...TRUE. Any DPS pulling before the tank IMHO is an [filtered]. The very FIRST bit of attention from a mob must go to the tank. Always. No IF's, AND's or BUT's about it.

I ran the same instance with basically the same kind of group on my sorc, except one with a warrior tank and one with a lancer tank. The warrior died many times and we came close to wiping at one point. Mobs were moving everywhere and the priest was complaining about the warrior jumping out of healing circles.

With the lancer, he just pulled whole rooms to him and they locked onto him in one spot.

I think some of the confusion comes from the fact that "Warriors" are typically one of the easiest classes to play in games, whereas in this game it's the reverse. It's listed as the hardest class to play (well) but I think many people choose it based on WoW's warrior or the typical mmo warrior.
