i use 4 hunter pentants and 4 anarchic pentants and i've never had trouble with anything at all.. i can even tank BAMS 2~3 lvls higher than me no problem, only main problems with warrior tanking is that they cant hold aggro like a lancer can, so it really has nothing to do with defense or "LEATHER ARMOR" VS "FULL PLATE ARMOR" when u cant block attacks like a lancer can with a shield, instead you can flip between the monsters legs and attack it from behind, its very easy to see the monsters eyes glow red, if you cant see that then you wont succeed as a warrior sorry
as for gylphs, i havent updated my gylphs since lvl 32 cap but the real breakdown between the two combat stances is that the attack buff gives 15% attack power (i think) and critical at the cost of defense, while the def stance gives endure and doesnt buff attack power at all and it increase aggro rate, you can add gylphs (two of them each adding an extra 20% endure) to it to make it even better than the attack buff which is the reason why i use the def one instead of the atk one
im not fully sure how to dish out high dmg with traverse cut yet, and just because warriors dont use it often in bam fights doesnt mean their noob.. i'd like to see any of u try to keep up with stacking traverse cut on a bam every 15~20 secs + having to dodge its attacks + the bam moving around so dam often and u are most likely gonna get knocked down the stacks is gone
if you have a solid combo u can take out a pair of monsters in less than 3 seconds, but minions is alot more work because they scatter around too much and warriors are not very good with AoE compared to all the other jobs
from what i see, warriors are NEVER picked for instance partys because everyones first thought is.. "OH ITS A WARRIOR I BET THEY GOT SUCKY DMG LETS GET THE SLAYER OR ZERKER INSTEAD".. to me that is just stupid and i believe every class in the game is balanced in their own way
