I mean I guess Its ok if that much goes to enmasse rather then a company like nexon but hey >-> this is a small follow up to the whole "F2P Games are the way to go" argument and well.... P2P is higher quality & CHEAPER. I imagine B2P will follow this spending document aswell, except not as dramatic.

Going through your list of expenditures...


...you did not HAVE to pay for the VAST majority of those items...

Megaphones, dye ampoules, long straight braids, pretty make up for Evie...

I'd say over your 3 years, you've paid for about $100-$200 worth of stuff that ACTUALLY effects your gameplay (Goddess Grace, Skill reset, etc.)


You just happen to be someone who REALLY loves cosmetic items and is willing to pay a premium price to get what they want.

Now, if you REALLY want to make an argument against the F2P model, the fact that you do not have to buy a box (you have to purchase the box with B2P and most P2P)means that Gold sellers are abundant and screw with the economy.

Ive been playing Vindictus for 2 years and ive never spent a dime

I want to tho. 30$ and i get a pretty [filtered]in look :D
Do want.
I want some other stuff but nothing that i can think of that goes beyond skill


Also vindictus is really not so much pay to win because it is a skill based game and the games armor system scales properly with the PVE element and there next to no PVP in vindictus.
So i say dont go crazy saying its pay to win, because its a skill based game.
Its RNG and stat games that remove alot of skill that become pay to win.

Flyff, Eden Eternal, Ether Saga, and Mabinogi are some of the best examples of this.
Games like Iris, Allods Rappelz, Shaiya, Last Chaos, CABAL, and a hundred others are all guilt of pay to win.
vindictus is very minor in this scale because its a skill based game with very little RNG.

Yea They just want money and the service they provide is one of the worst together with Joymax.

I know these games are all about the money but i think at least they should listen to their costumer base and provide a good service.

Vindictus imo is an awesome game with subpar service and support.

And I feel you Sohna. During my time with vindictus (Lann-60, Karok-48, Evie-52, Fiona-58), I've spent 90 dollars...on cosmetics XD

You can play the game with out paying a dime...but you won't look smexy.

Nothing wrong with COSMETIC items in cash shops, imo...in fact, I think most MMOs should have them, regardless of P2P, B2P, or F2P.

I was volunteer forum support tech for Vindictus (NXNeko)~ (Kitten, Louise, Lolita, and Skittles in-game), if you ever visited the forums to QQ about issues, since ticketing = useless. I left when Aeselli came in though, Aeselli is just NO fun on msn lol.

And yeah, cosmetics<3>t mind that in Tera. but its all impulse buys. also 80% Of its REBIRTH cards for mabinogi which is required. I spent maybe $300~400 on cosmetic stuff for vind at least, felt so refreshing.
