PvP'ers hate PvE'ers because they're a target they can never kill C:

Anyways, personally I can go either PvP or PvE, I don't mind being ganked while questing it's gonna happen. I've been in guilds where my guild leader would follow me throughout the map and kill me after reaching the level needed to PvP. Even after I left the guild (he had irl issues and gave GM to someone who let the guild die) he would still log on from time to time locate me via friends list and PK with me or against me. :P

I've even gotten into the grove of PKing my own guild mates, not while they're questing but for fun - like a duel with death :D

Either way people just like feeling superior and if others disagree with their ideals they're going to hate on them and bring them down, it's just a game and if people feel the need to hold grudges and hatred against another group of people then.. "games" aren't for them since they've completely missing the goal in a game, to have fun and enjoy yourself.

In a Korean MMO, a PvP server lives by one golden rule: The individuals who devote the most time to the game will always have an edge gearwise over everyone else. In a game like WoW, you can level out that difference in a matter of a few months. In a game like Lineage 2 or Aion, if you only play 1-2 hours a day, you will basically NEVER be on even grounds with the high level PvP'ers. First because 2 hours /day is nothing compared to their 6+ hours a day game time, second, because chances are, they might be playing several months or even years before you.
I have played PvP servers all my life on WoW, L2, Aion, GW among others and I chose to play a more relaxed game on Tera on a PvE server this time.
I do not want to participate in the desperate race to get to top level and endgame content (as quickly as humanly possible), nor do I have the time to invest in this game to be competitive against others. Playing less than 2 hours per day, means most PvP'ers interested in ganking will be lvl 60 (beating my behind with a +10 weapon) by the time I get to lvl 40, wearing blues. I do not find any fun in that.
I love PvP but I also have a job and responsibilities that limit my game time to about 2 hours a day. I believe in a PvE server i will still be able to enjoy PvP through BG, duels and GvG but I will do it on my own time and my own terms.
If Tera is any different from Aion and L2 and will allow me to even stand a chance against someone 1-5 levels above me with all +10 uber yellow gear... if I can even stand a chance for a few seconds aganst that person, I will transfer to a PvP server. Otherwise, I would have to be a glutton for punishment or mentally slow to join PvP in such uneven terms.

TL;DR: In a korean MMO, if you do not have a LOT of time to invest in the game, you are just asking to get your behind kicked all over the place in a PvP server.
And no, there is no reasonable means of leveling up, gearing up and getting out of the bottom of the barrel if you do not sink hundreds and hundreds of hours just dedicated to that.

I think it is always the other way around with pve players always hating on pvp players and every game i have played I always read about pve players who are trying to change the rules of pvp servers and some of them dont even play on them.

the reason why so many other games have such weak pvp servers ( example would be swtor were you never see the other faction) is because of all the pve players complaining about "griefing" and ganking so they change the pvp servers into a more pve server ruleset. Instead of them just rolling on a pve server where they belong.
