I am just curious because even on the Euro server its selected countries that are blocked but on US Tera its straight up (Middle East). So are we saying that the Middle East are all botters and hackers? I somehow want to say there are more botters/hackers in the US then all of the Middle East combined...

ps. only reason I am frustrated is because if it is IP blocked why does it allow people Middle East still buy the game through website... isn't that kind of a fraud? [ told my friend about the game he bought from dubai and now learn about IP block]
I do agree that if the game itself is IP blocked, you should not be able to purchase the game through the store to avoid future problems, regardless when you can contact support for a refund.

no offense, but even if you and your friend are not botters and hackers, the majority of hackers do infact come from the middle east, another large amount comes from russia.
the majority of Leechers/botters also come from these areas.
the three most popular hack/bot sites did something a while back, that imo, was a troll on their users.
the attached an ip-logger to their website to see which country most of their viewers/downloaders come from.
NA was rated at 0.76%
middle eastern area was rated at 67% russia at 30% and the remaining from other countries.
i remember these numbers because i took a screen shot of that just to prove it, however i won't post it here because it actually lists the sites and that is against rules to list those sites.

Well its cool they decided to not let your friend from Dubai play cuz sooner or later he is going to get banned for buying ALOT of in game currency !

I can bet you that Dubai has less than .76% botters compare to the NA.
It is like the post someone else made about how koreans think there are tons of botters and identity theft people from the US.
Data are always "changed" to make the country it is meant to be read in seem better.
There are so many botting sites and tutorial in US that teaches people how to do it. Was in an chatroom for Aion on release and literally 5,000 people in there learning from one dude how to bot.
If botting is such an issue for Game Developers stop developing games go outside and play because obviously they are not in it to make money. Regardless of bots or not they make money per copy sold/subscription which if bots are caught/reported that's another copy sold because they would have to buy another one.
If they ban 500 bots. Thats 25k profit + another 25k profit because they would have to buy the game again. This is minus subscription cost. From what people are saying that it is going to be like lineage etc. That means there would be more than 500 bots easily.

NA can't directly ban specific countries so re ban regions.
most of the sites are hosted on middle east/russian servers btw.
A lot of places ban NA for no reason other then the fact America is part of it, and that is the down right truth of the matter.
yeah don't give me a ???????????????????????????????????????? like you don't know what im talking about , people from Dubai like 90% of them buy in game currency like crazy .
in Aion they banned Hundreds and thousands on US server and then on RIFT they banned so much people from Dubai cuz of their currency abuse , this people love to buy currency they dont bot they don't do anything else they only buy currency all day and top their character and crafting .
it is why most people from middle east now play a very bad game called FFXIV so they can buy tons of currency and not get banned , the devs of that game also made it obvious they made the crafting system so hard that u cant even max a crafting lvl without playing 2 years OR BUY CURRENCY and do it in 1 month .
