I play on one of the most high populated servers on Rift atm and I can tell you I havent seen a queue for that game in forever and a day
Rift DOES have a grace period actually. Did any of you claiming it doesn't actually play the damn game?
WoW *does* have a grace timer. Even at the start of a new patch when there are queues to get in, if you DC/crash/etc, you have a certain amount of time where you can log in without sitting in the queue.
A 30 minute queue after each DC or crash is making this an extremely unpleasant gaming experience.
Bumping this until we get a post from a community manager.
I've given this a 4 hour break to let the servers stabilize, but if I get kicked off and have to wait in another 90 minute queue I'm 100% done with this game.
yea this issue needs to be brought up. kind of sucks to get screwed out of a instance run because you dc and have to wait in a 35 minute queue.
Agreed with the OP - there needs to be some sort of grace period especially with certain servers having 2 hour queues pre-release.
1 d/c and you're stuck with 2 hours of no game play. For most people with a life this is not going to work if you can only play during primetime.
This also says something about server population balancing. It was obviously not done well if we are hitting 2 hour queues in headstart.
i agree this is my 2nd time crashing so i already wasted 4 hours in ques :/
