You can only transfer characters from PVP to PVP and PVE to PVE why? I have a bunch of friends on a PVP server and I am on a PVE server, I want to transfer over.

The argument is that you could level in peace on a PvE server and then move to a PvP server, thereby avoiding ganking and griefing.
They should at least allow PvP -> PvE.

What does that really matter in the grand scheme of things. I mean, with all due respect, so what?

It's probably some sort of limitation on both the hardware (drives/server boxes) and software (databases/game engine). Though I'm leaning towards on the software side of things.

It is said to be easier to level on a PvE server since you cannot be ganked or killed. It would not be fair to allow players to level on a PvE server, skipping all of the risk, and then going to a PvP server.

Ok I guess. So I get killed more times and use more pots or campfires to get my stamina back or use more bandages or switch channels to get away. Whats the difference? They want you to go threw the pain in the [filtered]? Earn your stripes as it were?

I have always heard easier to level on PvP. Game gives more exp to PvP servers. Also you don't lose exp when you die or not enough that I have noticed. I'd probably be 60 by now if i played more than 2 hours a night. Most of that afk.

I'm sure it's not the whole level on PvE transfer to PvP argument :/
We get a quest that they don't (as far as I know) to go outlaw to PvP, since we have it and they don't that'd be something they'd have to void/remove on the transfer.
