Starting a "I don't want an Aion clone" argument is tacky and derivative.
I don't see why veteran rewards of a purely cosmetic nature at some point in the future obviously (thought that was common sense, apparently not), would be the end of the universe.

In Aion, it always felt like my main motivation in keeping my subscription was to eventually get cool stuff from the vet rewards. For Tera, I'm not going to have any motivation for keeping my subscription for any reason besides being able to play!

This forum doesn't have signatures and they have said it never will since it clunks up the posts and destroys the flow of the threads. When the game comes out our avatars will have a lot of information about our characters next to them but that's it. You'd have to manually paste in the img file in every post if you wanted a sig but most likely a mod will come around and delete it.

Not really since you pay for it. You're not "rewarded" with groceries when you go shopping.

I have played Aion, yes, but Aion's veteran reward system had some ridiculous items and perks that created some imbalance. I definitely would not want to see something like that happen in Tera.

Perhaps, but it's a decent marketing idea. Personally I'd be fine with is as long as it is only cosmetic items, like the dyeable costume armor and hats on RIFT.

Cant have your cake and eat it too. You pay to play the game. Anymore than that you are certainly asking for too much.
