Right but, there's a big difference between "recommended settings" and running the game on max graphics.

So very true, but if people are experiencing performance issues they can always upgrade their computer one component at a time to lessen the impact of the expense. I have a duo core that I so desperately want to upgrade to a quad core but with my chipset I would have to either buy a $300 processor or upgrade my motherboard and that’s just a pain.

To answer your question, Yes you will be able to run the game. A 460 graphics car is still noting to sneeze at and while your processor is old it will still do the job. Medium settings is where I would start.
